11 Million, the office of the Children's Commissioner for England, recently announced their aspiration to have 30,000 children and young people from Britain take part in their 11 Million Takeover Day, Friday 6 November. They co-ordinated the event last year and had a lot of uptake from organisations.
Should we try and take part in this as well? Take Over the Corn Exchange! is intended as a long-term project rather than something that happens for a single day, but the idea of young people all over the country running businesses, councils and the like at the same time is rather attractive. Something to discuss in the near future, perhaps.
